San Diego guitarist Scot Taber brings brilliant technical skill and a unique musicality to both his interpretations of traditional music and his original compositions. Trained in flamenco, classical, and latin-American styles and techniques, his diverse repertoire ranges from intimate solo guitar works to the eclectic and modern.

**Check out Scot’s latest album “Patternalia” – all original compositions with Sam Johnson on upright bass and Julien Cantelm on drums! This instrumental guitar album draws upon a lot of styles including rock, jazz, tango, Brazilian rhythms, and ambient styles. Purchase the album now on iTunes or order a hard copy at CDBaby! The San Diego Troubadour describes the album: “…Patternalia, which collects a diverse dozen Taber originals that crisscross styles, all of which give him a chance to flash his versatility on various acoustic guitars, from nylon classical to big mouth Django rigs, to steel string models. Taber arranges his songs and plays accordion and mandolin on the program, while Sam Johnson’s bass and drums by Julien Cantelm lay down the beats.”
